It's not like I didn't think of this option. :| I play Sasuke. I like to think I can get into his psyche some and figure out what he's going to do next. I just figured that, between last chapter, and the seemingly slow return of some sort of feelings in Sasuke, I had kinda just...hoped it wouldn't come down to this ;__; It seemed like he had completely moved away from that. He's told us that he's the one using Akatsuki. And now he said he just told his team that.

I have to wonder now that I think about it. Is he just telling everyone what they want to hear to keep them out of his hair, and making his own agenda? ffff I can only hope his character is that complex.

he could just be telling madara what he wants to hear, though knowing sasuke he probably wouldn't blabber endlessly and heatedly if it were only a cover-up.

the thing with sasuke in part 2 is that we still have no idea how much change there was in his personality; if he's the same deep down or if his time on his own made him cruel, etc. keeping his plan from his team/protecting them in battle/remembering team 7 only give us further reasons to believe he's just being the usual, deep-down confused and indeed emotion-driven sasuke -- he wants to wipe out the village, and he's convinced himself that he can, but get him in front of a konoha civilian and i doubt he'd be able to do it. weak, as he'd call it, but one of the consistencies in his character throughout the series. so i'm kinda putting my trust on that.

... it's literally just hope, though, since actually having sasuke kill people and be a full villain for a short time might enhance the story as long as kishi does it well and doesn't make him unlikable (more than he already has to most people >_>).

Yea, that's what makes me doubt it. >__>; There are just little things about his speech that make me wonder. Like brining up the Senju. fdsjka He didn't really seem to have any interest in them before and now wants revenge again them too? It just seems sudden/

<3 fjksdhaj Yea. I was always kind of hoping that his will not to harm innocents would be what would have kept him away from this idea altogether. lol Apparently not. But I totally agree that I think he's going to freeze up when he makes an attempt to kill someone >__>;

I really wish we knew more about him in part two :| But I have a feeling that if we did know more, the manga really would be called Sasuke. and I think I would miss Naruto too much for that ;___; *sap*

hmm. what i get from the translation, though, is that he wants revenge on konoha for kissing the senju's ass, among the other obvious factors. are the descendants even alive? except for tsunade, though the story is messed up in my mind and i'm not sure which hokage was in her family.

yeah, we can't know much about sasuke until it's time to really unfold everything. which sucks for the people who play him, but we'll live. we have more freedom with making him an inner cuddler this way. |:
